As an active participant of the Learning Enterprise Alliance (LEA) for workplace transformation, The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) was presented the LEA Award yesterday, in acknowledgement of its effort to help IES to improve its operational processes, enhance employee productivity and adoption of technologies in its workplace.

IES President, Er. Chan Ewe Jin, received the award on behalf of IES from Mr Desmond Tan, Senior Minister of State, Prime Minister’s Office & Deputy Secretary General, National Trades Union Congress.

The IES/IEEE Joint Medal of Excellence Award 2024

The aim of the award is to promote engineering as a profession and to recognize an individual for his/her contributions in Engineering that have had far-reaching impacts on society. Eligible candidates are invited to submit nominations using the IES/IEEE Joint Medal of Excellence Award nomination form, available here. For criteria and eligibility, click here. The recipient will receive the award at the IES 58th Annual Dinner on 15 October 2024.
